4 Reasons Why Cause Camp Isn’t Your Average Nonprofit Conference
Cause Camp 2019 is just one month away! We’re so excited to unite all the best people, resources and ideas the sector has to offer under one roof. Here, unlike most nonprofit conferences, you’ll find so much more than run-of-the-mill speaker lectures, cheap coffee and goodie bags filled with pencils. It’s about something deeper—it’s about you and your organization, and your Cause Camp experience informs every decision we make.
We think these four things elevate Cause Camp above the rest of the nonprofit conferences out there.
1. Connections
Cause Camp provides ample opportunity to network and form relationships with other nonprofit professionals and thought leaders. During snack breaks, collaboration workshops, breakout sessions and happy hours, you’ll mingle with like-minded attendees and inevitably make some new friends. Plus, our speakers will be out among the crowd, mingling during breaks and happy hours.
Our Expert Room allows you to have one-on-one time with those who’ve made careers out of nonprofit work. Go ahead, ask them all the burning, organization-specific questions you have—they’ll be ready to form a connection with you and dish out some real advice.
Cause Camp is enriched by the community-centered attitude that envelops you the second you walk in the door. With attendees hailing from all over the country, it’s impossible not to leave feeling like you’re part of one big nonprofit family.
2. Individualized experience
Even though the conference is based around collaboration and networking, Cause Camp is still very much a personal experience, allowing you to focus on the topics your organization needs the most. After each presentation, you’ll have plenty of time to do your own thing—attend workshops, chat with vendors, relax. There’s something for everyone. Plus, in our Expert Room, thought leaders will work with you individually to iron out any kinks your organization may have. Each person’s Cause Camp experience is different, and that’s what makes it so great.
3. Fun (like, real fun)
If you’ve already purchased your ticket, you’re in for a good time. If you haven’t, prepare to feel some serious FOMO. Here at Nonprofit Hub, we play as hard as we work, so after a long day of networking, learning and inspiration, we’ll help you unwind. Each day will conclude with happy hour, complete with a full bar and tons of delicious snacks and appetizers. And after the first night, get ready to party ‘til the break of dawn (okay, or until 11 p.m.) at our Night Cap Party.
We’ll also sprinkle in some fun throughout your day with yoga classes, meditation sessions, prizes and more.
Our priority, second only to inspiring you, is ensuring that you have a really, really good time.
4. Affordable, and worth every penny
A conference as phenomenal as this should come at a higher price than it does (most conferences of similar scope will run you between $800 and $1000). Our goal is to host people from all backgrounds, and we hate the thought that a pricey ticket would ever stop someone from experiencing something as life-changing as Cause Camp. Ticket prices are low to begin with, but we also offer lots of discounts, promos and scholarships leading up to the big day. Be sure you’re following @NPHub and @CauseCamp to stay up to date on these money-saving opportunities if you haven’t purchased a ticket yet. It’ll be worth every cent.
We could go on and on about just how amazing Cause Camp is, but words don’t do it justice— you’ll just have to experience it yourself. Prepare to be blown away by our speakers, form lasting connections, have more fun than you thought possible and leave more inspired, motivated and passionate about your work than ever before.
