Fundraising Campaigns Take Top Honors
The best fundraising appeals were highlighted last night during the 2024 MAXI Awards hosted by the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW) with four agencies talking 22 of the 52 prizes.
Newport One and K2D each took six MAXIs while Lautman Maska Neill & Company and The Harrington Agency each took five awards. Daniller & Co. swept the Nonprofit Reinstatement/Lapsed Category taking all three awards. K2D also won the Big Idea award.
There were four major categories – Digital Channel, Direct Mail Campaign, Multi-Channel Campaign and Workhorse Campaign with subcategories such as acquisition/prospecting, major donor, reinstatement and special appeal.
The event was held at the National Housing Center in Washington, D.C. Established in 1979, the MAXI Awards program recognizes and honors outstanding achievements in the field of direct marketing. In the MAXI competition, a campaign’s results will carry more weight than any of the other scored criteria. All entries are judged on six criteria: results, strategy, copy, design/format, production, and innovation. Each entry is judged three times by local judges and one time by an out-of-town panel of judges.
A list of the winners can be found here.
