[PODCAST] Do More Good, The Book
An Interview with Bill McKendry, Author of Do More Good, the Book
If you’re in need of some firepower behind your marketing budget, listen to this episode! Bill McKendry shares select stories from his new book, Do More Good, to inspire and inform nonprofit leaders on the importance of brand, communications, and marketplace perspective.
Do More Good is a Book?
In addition to being the parent organization of Nonprofit Hub and Cause Camp, Do More Good is also the title of a new book by the organization’s founder, Bill McKendry! Those magical three words originated as Bill’s speaking platform in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. In 2018, Bill and Katie Appold partnered to turn the speaking platform into an educational nonprofit to train other organizations on the power of branding, marketing, and communications. Today, the organization covers many more topics and a lot more territory through Nonprofit Hub, but the stories featured in Bill’s book are the heart center of the story. From meeting Mother Theresa to telling the local mission to stop competing with God’s Kitchen, these stories will inspire you to laugh, maybe cry, and definitely dial up your communications strategy.
